Diving into the Wreck Summary in English

Here we have uploaded the Diving into the Wreck Summary in English for students. This will help students to learn quickly in English and Hindi language.

Before putting on my diving equipment, I read a book of stories about the wreck. I prepared my camera and made sure my knife was sharp. Then I put on my black rubber diving suit, flippers and a cumbersome mask. I'm single - the exact opposite of famous diver Jacques Cousteau, who always had a big team on his boat.

There is a ladder leading down to the water, which hangs snugly from the side of the boat. Those of us who have used a ladder know what it is for, but some ignore it altogether – as if it were some sort of garbage floating on the water.

I start walking down the ladder. Even after going down several notches, I am still surrounded by daylight and the clear air of the world above the surface. My flippers make going down the ladder awkward, and as I continue to descend, I feel like a bug. There is no one around to tell me when I will approach the water.

The air around me turns blue, green, and then black. I think for a moment that I am going to pass out, but my oxygen mask is strong and it fills my blood with all its might. However, the ocean itself is a story of sorts, and uncovering its truths has nothing to do with strength. I have to teach myself to walk slowly under water.

I have to remind myself why I am here. It's easy to get distracted seeing all the creatures floating among the rocks. This underwater world moves at a completely different speed.

I'm here to find out the shipwreck. Words have helped guide me, have given me direction and a sense of purpose. I had come to witness both the damage of the rubble and the treasure it contained. I shine my flashlight on the side of the ship, which will blow away the fish and the weeds around it.

I came to see the wreck for the first time; I will not be satisfied with old stories or myths about it. I see a dipped face staring at the surface of the water. I see the damage done to the debris by salt and currents, which have given it a strange kind of beauty. I see beams of the sunken ship's frame, which bend upwards like a rib cage and shield the wreck from the hesitant creatures that haunt it.

Down here, I become both a mermaid and a mermaid - with dark flowing hair and a strong shell. We walk around the ship in silence, and then dive inside. I am both man and woman, whose submerged face gazes to the surface, whose breasts still feel the pressure of the water, whose abandoned treasure is half-hidden in barrels and left to rot. We are idle tools of navigation that once showed the way, bumpy logbooks and doomed compasses.

We, me, you - all of us, whether out of shame or bravery, made this place back. And we all carry a knife, a camera, and a book of myths—not to mention us at all.
