Here the poetess tells us that we should help the needy. Kindness is a virtue. It multiplies and comes to us in one way or another. It was a winter evening. An old woman was waiting to cross a busy road near a school. She was very old and had gray hair and was very poor. His dress was Tom. She was a single woman. She was waiting for a long time. No one looked at him or looked at him. Children suddenly drop out of school as soon as the day is closed. He passed the lonely old lady but paid no attention to the old lady.

यहां कवयित्री हमें बताती है कि हमें जरूरतमंदों की मदद करनी चाहिए। दयालुता एक गुण है। यह गुणा करता है और किसी न किसी तरह से हमारे पास आता है। सर्दी की शाम थी। एक बूढ़ी औरत एक स्कूल के पास एक व्यस्त सड़क पार करने की प्रतीक्षा कर रही थी। वह बहुत बूढ़ी थी और उसके बाल भूरे थे और वह बहुत गरीब थी। उसकी पोशाक टॉम थी। वह एक अकेली महिला थी। वह लंबे समय से इंतजार कर रही थी। किसी ने उसकी तरफ नहीं देखा और न ही उसकी तरफ देखा। दिन के लिए बंद होते ही बच्चे अचानक स्कूल से बाहर आ जाते हैं। उन्होंने अकेली बूढ़ी औरत को पास कर दिया लेकिन बूढ़ी औरत पर कोई ध्यान नहीं दिया।

बेचारी बूढ़ी औरत सड़क के किनारे खड़ी थी क्योंकि उसे लगा कि उसे घोड़े के पैरों या गाड़ी के पहियों के नीचे रौंदा जाएगा। वहाँ खुश लड़कों का एक समूह आता है, ऐसा हुआ कि लड़कों में से एक, बहुत हंसमुख और जीवंत, ने इस बूढ़ी औरत को सड़क पार करने का इंतजार करते देखा। वह दौड़कर उसके पास गया और उसे सड़क पार करने में मदद की। उसने अपना बूढ़ा हाथ उसकी मजबूत युवा भुजा पर रख दिया। लड़के ने कांपते पैरों का मार्गदर्शन किया और अपनी दृढ़ और मजबूत भुजाओं से उसका समर्थन किया।

बाद में उसने अपने दोस्तों को समझाया कि एक दिन उसकी अपनी माँ की भी ऐसी ही स्थिति हो सकती है और कोई और उसकी मदद करेगा। उस रात घर पर बुढ़िया ने उस लड़के के लिए प्रार्थना की जिसने उसे सड़क पार करने में मदद की थी। उसका हृदय कृतज्ञता और गर्व से उमड़ रहा था। उसने प्रार्थना की 'भगवान, उस पर दया करो, किसी का बेटा!
