Valentin Tereshkova, from a humble family, was born on March 6, 1937, in Maslennikovo, Soviet Union. He was affectionately called 'Valya'. Her father was a tractor driver and died at the front during WWII. The family then faced poverty and Valentine had to work in a tire factory to help run the family. In 1960, she graduated a trade school and was also trained as a parachute jumper at the Yaroslavl Acre Club. She was inspired and persevered by Yuri Gagorn's first space flight.

She stayed in the Vostok VI spacecraft, moving around the Earth for three days. She then returned to Earth safely except for injuring her nose while descending from a parachute in Soviet Central Asia.

Valentine showed the world that a woman has better stamina and stamina than a man. She was happy with her success. Valentine's space flight will be recorded as another victory of the human soul in the history of civilization.
