Mohan was born in a family of musicians. Music was in his blood. He grew up among musicians. Like his father and other family members, he was initially trained to sing and then tried to learn the violin.

After his performance, someone said, "The sound of a sitar is like a running waterfall. Your instrument doesn't have that much depth." Another (relative) said, "Your brother is playing the violin; what a beautiful melody and rhythm.

What are you doing with this device? (Hearing all this) Mohan got disheartened and cried the whole night. He spent two years of his life on this yantra. "My heart says that I was born for the guitar. Mohan was only 16 years old when this incident happened. This was a turning point in his life. Mohan doubled his habit and studied for about ten hours a day. He also studied other aspects of the guitar. He decided to combine each tiger's features, construction method, and sound into a single guitar. He wanted to make an instrument that sounded like a guitar but could be played like the Indian Veena.

“Not only the sound from my instrument, but also my sight must be manifested in it; What do I mean by tiger, ”he thought, and finally, with hard work and understanding of melody, he made a wonderful Mohan Veena.
