उसे अपना कमरा साझा करना पड़ा और उसकी दिनचर्या बदल गई। कुछ दिनों के बाद वह उस जीवन में समायोजित हो गई। दादा ने प्रोजेक्ट वर्क और मैथ्स विषयों में उनकी मदद की। दादी ने स्वादिष्ट खाना बनाया। दादा-दादी उसे अधिक प्यार और स्नेह दिखाते हैं। शुरुआत में वह अपने दादा-दादी से नाराज थी। वह अपनी बातें शेयर करने को तैयार नहीं थी। वह परेशान थी। लेकिन कुछ दिनों बाद सब ठीक हो गया। कुछ दिनों बाद उसके दादा-दादी बुआ के घर आना चाहते थे।

उस समय वह उत्साहित थी कि उसे अपना कमरा वापस मिल जाए उसके दादा-दादी के जाने के बाद, उनका घर फिर से एकल परिवार था। उसके माता-पिता के अलावा उसकी देखभाल करने वाला या उसे प्यार करने वाला कोई नहीं था। लेकिन उसके माता-पिता अपने काम में इतने व्यस्त थे। उसकी खुशी गायब हो गई। कुछ दिनों के बाद, फोन की घंटी बजी, अंजलि ने उठाया और अपने दादा-दादी से पूछा, "आप कब वापस आ रहे हैं?" इससे पता चलता है कि संयुक्त परिवार बच्चों के स्वस्थ विकास के लिए अच्छा है।
