Philemon and Boccias were an old couple who lived in a hut on a mound. He was very generous to those who came to his cottage, even to strangers. They were hardworking and poor. अतिथि ने कटोरा लिया और कहा कि जितना चाहिए उतना दूध है। उसने कटोरे से दोनों प्याले दूध से भर दिए एल बॉकिस हैरान रह गया और उसे शायद ही अपनी आँखों पर विश्वास हो। उसने सोचा कि वे सामान्य लोग नहीं हैं, वे स्वर्ग से देवदूत होंगे, उन्हें आशीर्वाद देने आएं। मेहमानों ने जोड़े को धन्यवाद दिया और आशीर्वाद दिया कि उनका कटोरा हमेशा दूध से भरा रहेगा। अगली सुबह मेहमान जाने के लिए तैयार थे और उन्होंने जोड़े से कहा कि वे बहुत खुश हैं और कुछ भी पूछने के लिए फिलेमोन ने कहा कि उन्हें एक साथ मरना चाहिए।
