तानसेन हा गायकाचा एकुलता एक मुलगा असून ग्वाल्हेरजवळील बेहट या छोट्या गावात राहतो. तो खूप खोडकर मुलगा आहे पण तितकाच हुशार आणि हुशार आहे. एके दिवशी तो खेळण्यासाठी जंगलात पळून जातो आणि वाघाच्या डरकाळ्याचे अनुकरण करू लागतो.

Tansen was the son of Mukandan Mishra as the best musician in the country. Tansen's summary will make you think of his life and the incident that saved his life.

Tansen is the singer's only son and lives in Behat, a small village near Gwalior. He is a very naughty boy but he is also very smart and intelligent. One day he runs into the forest to play and imitates the tiger's fear.

They hear Swami Haridas walking through the forest with his disciples. Tansen hides behind a tree and roars like a tiger. This frightens the travelers but one of the disciples finds out that it is Tansen.

Swami Haridas immediately recognizes his talent and starts teaching him music with the permission of Tansen's father. After being under the tutelage of Swami Haridas for eleven years, Tansen became a great singer.

Now, with his parents on the verge of death, his father's last wish is for him to take up training with the famous Mohammed Ghaus of Gwalior. Tansen trains under him and often goes to court with his gurus.

He later married Husseini and has five children, all of whom are very musical. As Tansen became very popular, he started singing before Emperor Akbar. Akbar is very impressed with him and appoints him as musician in his court.

Akbar also spends time with him and gives him many gifts. This makes other courtiers jealous. They plot to destroy Tansen, and a courtier, Shaukat Mian, plots his death.

Shaukat Mian is aware that if Tansen sings Deepak Raga, the lights will be lit around him. Eventually, the heat will burn Tansen to ashes. So he goes to Akbar to make Tansen sing this rage.

Akbar agrees and orders Tansen to do so and Tansen agrees but asks for some time to prepare. Being a wise man, Tansen realizes what anger can do. So, he teaches his daughter and her friend to sing Megh Raag which brings rain.

Finally, the day comes and Tansen starts singing the raga lamp when the flames go out and the lights go out. However, the girls start singing and it starts to rain. This saved Tansen's life but he fell ill.

In the end, he is healthy and everyone is happy. He also composes many new rages and the king punishes those who plan these rages. Now Tansen's Samadhi is a pilgrimage site for musicians in Gwalior.
