कवी कबूल करतो की जेव्हा त्याचे जीवन पैशाने समृद्ध होते, तेव्हा तो शाश्वत आनंद आणि खऱ्या आनंदापासून दूर होता. त्यामुळे जीवनाचा खरा आनंद मिळविण्यासाठी कवीला गरीब व्हायचे असते. समृद्धीमध्ये, कवीला बरेच मित्र होते जे त्यांच्याशी नेहमी भेटत असत.
समृद्ध जीवन जगत असताना कवीचे जीवन अनेक बंधने आणि शिष्टाचारांनी भरलेले होते. म्हणून कवीने आपल्या आयुष्याची तुलना एका मुलाशी केली ज्याला रणशिंग फुंकण्याची तीव्र इच्छा आहे परंतु परिघ आणि पद्धतीमुळे तो ते करू शकत नाही. कवीच्या मते, आनंदाची खरी भावना श्रीमंतीच्या खोट्या स्थितीत दडलेली असते. आता गरीब असल्याने कवीला आनंदी जीवन जगायचे आहे. कवीला त्याच्या स्थितीबद्दल जगासमोर कोणतेही शब्द बोलायचे नाहीत कारण जग सुखाच्या खोट्या विचारांच्या प्रभावाखाली आहे. जगाच्या नियमांनुसार पैशाने सुख विकत घेता येते, श्रीमंतीची तुलना थेट आनंदाशी केली जाते जी कवीच्या मते असत्यच राहिली.
कवीने जीवनाचे पैलू बारकाईने पाहिले आणि जाणून घेतले. रोज थोडे पैसे कमावले तरी गरीब माणसाचे मन अधिक प्रसन्न आणि समाधानी असते असे त्यांनी निरीक्षण केले. मनापासून कवी, श्रीमंत व्यक्तीच्या व्यतिरिक्त आनंदाने भरलेल्या गरीब व्यक्तीच्या छोट्याशा क्रियाकलापाने प्रभावित होतो. पतीने सकाळपासून संध्याकाळपर्यंत घेतलेल्या परिश्रमाबद्दल गरीबांच्या बायका मधमाश्यांप्रमाणे तक्रारी करत असतात. गरीब लोक पैसे मिळवण्यासाठी आणि ते वाचवण्यासाठी धडपडत आहेत, परंतु घरातील कामे सांभाळण्यासाठी पत्नींना जास्त मेहनत घ्यावी लागते. त्यांच्याकडे खर्च करण्यासाठी पुरेसे पैसे नाहीत. कवीला अशा वागण्या-बोलण्याचं आणि परिस्थितीचं खूप आकर्षण असतं.

So the poet likens his life to a boy who has a strong desire to blow the trumpet but because of the circumference and the method he cannot do it. According to the poet, the true feeling of happiness is hidden in the false state of wealth. Now being poor, the poet wants to live a happy life. The poet does not want to say anything in front of the world about his condition because the world is under the influence of false thoughts of happiness. Happiness can be bought with money according to the rules of the world, wealth is directly compared to happiness which according to the poet remained untrue.
The poet saw and learned aspects of life in detail. He observed that the mind of a poor man is happier and more satisfied even if he earns a little money every day. The poet from the heart is influenced by the small activities of the poor person who is full of joy in addition to the rich person. The wives of the poor complain like bees about the hard work of their husbands from morning till evening. Poor people struggle to earn money and save it, but wives have to work harder to take care of household chores. They do not have enough money to spend. The poet is very attracted to such behavior and situation.
The poet feels the difference between the smiles of the rich and the poor. The poor man laughs without hesitation. It is free and at the bottom of the heart. Rich people, on the other hand, laugh but it is cold and vague. The poet pointed out that rich people are far from true happiness. In search of more and more money, he left behind true happiness. The poor person is happy with his daily earnings and is closely connected with the eternal happiness of the soul. So the poet suggested that rich people should go down to stay in touch with the eternal bliss of the soul.
The poet compares his financial situation to the past. In the past, he had enough money to make more friends in life, but these friends were not real because their friendship had turned into money. So these friends turned out to be liars. In the present life, the poet does not have enough money to spend. He has very few friends at this stage but these friends are real and true.
