भारतीय सभ्यता नैतिक सत्ता को ऊपर उठाती है जबकि पश्चिमी सभ्यता अमरता का प्रचार करती है। हे उत्तरार्द्ध ईश्वरविहीन है, पूर्व ईश्वर में विश्वास पर आधारित है। प्राचीन सभ्यता मानव आवश्यकताओं की अनिश्चित बहुलता पर एक अनिवार्य प्रतिबंध है जबकि आधुनिक सभ्यता इसके ठीक विपरीत है।

Ancient civilization is an inevitable restriction on an indefinite multiplicity of human needs whereas modern civilization is just the opposite.

Amazing discoveries of material things have happened in the West. Similarly, in India, Hinduism has made even more wonderful discoveries in the things of dharma, soul and spirit. There is something in Hinduism that is still alive. It has seen the decline of many civilizations like Baby Ionia, Syria, Egypt etc.

Our civilization, culture and Swaraj depend on limiting and self-denial rather than increasing our desires and self-indulgence. European civilization is European friendly and if we copy it, we (India) will be ruined. Civilization in the true sense of the words has a deliberate and voluntary restriction that multiplication does not have, as already mentioned.

It is necessary to organize our physical and cultural conditions so that they do not hinder our service to humanity and all our energy must be concentrated to develop them.
