ஒரு நல்ல குளிர்கால காலையில், புஜ்ஜு குடும்பம் அருகிலுள்ள மலைக்கு ஒரு பயணத்திற்கு புறப்பட்டது. புஜ்ஜு உறவினர்கள் அப்பு, பாலா, சூர்யா, ஜனனி ஆகியோர் உடன் சென்றனர். குழந்தைகள் மிகவும் ஆர்வத்துடன் அந்த இடத்தை சுற்றிப்பார்த்தனர்.

தாய்: பார் குழந்தைகளே! நம்மைச் சுற்றி இருங்கள். தனியாக எங்கும் செல்ல வேண்டாம்

புஜ்ஜு: ஆமாம் மா!

அம்மா: முதலில் காலை உணவை சாப்பிடுங்கள், நாங்கள் அங்கு செல்வோம்.

புஜ்ஜு : மா! நீர்வீழ்ச்சியைப் பாருங்கள்.

புஜ்ஜு அம்மா சாப்பாட்டை அவிழ்க்க ஆரம்பித்தாள். இதற்கிடையில், குழந்தைகளை நீர்வீழ்ச்சிக்கு அழைத்துச் செல்லும் பெற்றோர்கள் காத்திருக்க முடியவில்லை. இதனால் பெற்றோரிடம் தெரிவிக்காமல் ஓடிவிட்டனர்.

அப்பு: ஓடு... ஓடு... ஓடு....

அப்பு: ஓ! நான் மிகவும் பசியாக உணர்கிறேன். என்னிடம் ஒரே ஒரு கொய்யா பழம் உள்ளது. அதை நானே சாப்பிடுவேன்.

சூர்யா : ஏய் அப்பு! என்ன சாப்பிடுகிறாய்?

அப்பு : ஒண்ணுமில்ல சூர்யா

அப்பு விழுங்கி விக்கல் வந்தது. எனவே, சூர்யாவும் அப்புவும் பெற்றோரிடம் திரும்பினர்.

அப்பா : எங்கே போனாய்? மற்றவர்கள் பற்றி என்ன?

சூர்யா: கவலைப்படாதே அப்பா. அவர்கள் அருகில் விளையாடுகிறார்கள்.

இதை கவனிக்காமல் மற்ற மூவரும் அருவியை நோக்கி ஓடிக்கொண்டே இருந்தனர். அங்கு ஒரு குறும்பு குரங்கைக் கண்டு பாலாவும் ஜனனியும் திசை மாறினர்.

ஜனனி : அந்த குறும்பு குரங்கைப் பாரு! நாமும் அப்படி நடந்து மகிழ்வோம்!

பாலா: எனக்கு மிகவும் பசியாக இருக்கிறது. போகலாம்.

பாலாவும் ஜனனியும் வெட்கப்படுவதை உணர்ந்ததால், அவர்கள் பெற்றோரிடம் திரும்பினர். ஆனால் புஜ்ஜு அருவியை நோக்கி விரைந்தது. அங்கு யாரும் இல்லாததை கண்டு அதிர்ச்சி அடைந்தார்.

புஜ்ஜு : ஓ! இல்லை... நான் தனியாக இருக்கிறேன். சூர்யா, அப்பு, ஜனனி, பாலா... எங்கே இருக்கிறீர்கள் நண்பர்களே?

புஜ்ஜு: அது சிங்கத்தின் கர்ஜனையா? மம்மி!
புஜ்ஜு: நான் பயப்படவேண்டாம். ஒரு வழியைக் கண்டுபிடியுங்கள். இந்த தடயங்கள் எனக்கு உதவும் என்று நினைக்கிறேன்.

அவர் செல்லும் வழியில் பெரிய கால்தடங்களைக் கண்டார்.

புஜ்ஜு: இவை அப்புவின் கால்தடங்களாக இருக்க வேண்டும் என்று நினைக்கிறேன்.

அம்மா: புஜ்ஜு, நீ எங்கே இருந்தாய்? நான் மிகவும் கவலைப்பட்டேன்.

புஜ்ஜு: ஆமாம் மா... கடைசியாக உன்னைக் கண்டுபிடித்துவிட்டேன்.

பெற்றோரிடம் தெரிவிக்காமல் தனியாக செல்லக்கூடாது என்று புஜ்ஜு தனது தவறை இப்போது உணர்ந்தார்.

One fine winter morning, the Bhujju family set out on a journey to a nearby mountain. Bhujju was accompanied by relatives Appu, Bala, Surya and Janani. The children toured the place with great interest.

Mother: Look, children! Be around us. Do not go anywhere alone

Bhujju: Yes Ma!

Mom: Eat breakfast first, we're going there.

Bhujju: Ma! Look at the waterfall.

Bhujju's mother began to unwrap the meal. Meanwhile, parents could not wait to take their children to the falls. Thus fleeing without informing the parents.
