Akaulya and Malasha are two little girls. They live separately in different houses. They meet in the street. It is the occasion of Easter festival. He has put on fancy clothes and jewelery and a red handkerchief on his head. They have come from church. They both start playing together in the open space and then hit him for fun in a small pool of water.

Akaulya's frock, eyes and nose were stained with mud by Malasha's sudden loud splash of water. Seeing this, Akaulya loses her cool and scolds her. She also runs after Malasha to kill him. Malasha gets frightened and comes out of the pool to run for her house.

Meanwhile, seeing all this, many people including people from both sides gathered there. A big mistake happens. Everyone is shouting without listening to each other. Meanwhile, Akaulya's grandmother arrives to pacify the situation. But his efforts go in vain. She fails to pacify the people who shout and fight. Suddenly the situation takes a pleasant change. Akokya and Malasha, forgetting their hatred, dig the ground near a small pond, until the water runs into the street where they had gathered.

Akouliya's grandmother is overjoyed to see the innocence and goodness of both the girls. She tells people how both the girls have become friends forgetting their misunderstandings and disputes. “You have come, from one side or the other, to join hands in a quarrel. Two innocent girls have cleared their misunderstandings, but you haven't. That's why they are wiser than you.' Seeing the girls ashamed, the men return to their homes.

Thus, the story ended in a comedy leaving the message of harmony and peaceful coexistence. It also highlights the innocence and forgiveness shown by young children. So they are undoubtedly more intelligent than older people.

अकौल्या और मलाशा दो छोटी लड़कियां हैं। वे अलग-अलग घरों में अलग-अलग रहते हैं। वे गली में मिलते हैं। यह ईस्टर पर्व का अवसर है। उन्होंने फैंसी कपड़े और आभूषण और सिर पर लाल रुमाल रखा है। वे चर्च से आए हैं। वे दोनों एक साथ खुली जगह में खेलना शुरू करते हैं और फिर पानी के एक छोटे से पूल में मस्ती के लिए उस पर वार करते हैं।

इस बीच यह सब कुछ देख दोनों पक्षों के लोग समेत कई लोग वहां जमा हो गए। बड़ी गड़बड़ी हो जाती है। सब एक दूसरे की सुने बिना चिल्ला रहे हैं। इसी बीच स्थिति को शांत करने के लिए अकौल्या की दादी आ जाती हैं। लेकिन उसके प्रयास निष्फल हो जाते हैं। वह चिल्लाने और झगड़ने वाले लोगों को शांत करने में विफल रहती है। अचानक स्थिति एक सुखद परिवर्तन लेती है। अकोक्या और मलाशा, अपने द्वेष को भूलकर, एक छोटे से तालाब के पास की ज़मीन खोदते हैं, यहाँ तक कि पानी उस गली में चला जाता है जहाँ वे लोग इकट्ठे हुए थे।

दोनों लड़कियों की मासूमियत और अच्छाई देखकर अकौलिया की दादी बहुत खुश होती हैं। वह लोगों से कहती है कि कैसे दोनों लड़कियां अपनी गलतफहमी और विवाद को भूलकर दोस्त बन गई हैं। “तुम आए हो, झगड़े में हाथ मिलाने के लिए, एक तरफ या दूसरी तरफ से। दो मासूम बच्चियों ने अपनी गलतफहमी दूर कर ली है, लेकिन आपने नहीं किया। इसलिए वे तुमसे अधिक बुद्धिमान हैं।” लड़कियों को लज्जित होते देख पुरुष अपने घर लौट जाते हैं।
