'A Cup of Tea' is a story that focuses on the lifestyle of the affluent. Rosemary Fell was not a woman of perfect beauty nor was she completely insignificant. She always loved shopping in a perfect shop in Regent Street. He loved collecting antiques.

One day, near an antiques shop on Curzon Street, he found a girl asking for the price of a cup of PF tea. The girl was simple, but extraordinary. Out of adventure, Rosemary took him home. He thought of proving himself as a real ideal character. She brought him home and provided him all the amenities. He presented his coat to her. She was very interested in him and wanted to hear his story. The girl was only interested in a cup of tea. Rosemary gave him all kinds of food along with tea. The girl ate the food with satisfaction. Meanwhile, Rosemary's husband Philip arrived. He was surprised to see the girl.

Philip asked Rosemary to come to the library. He wanted to know who the girl was. However, he also wanted to take her to dinner that night. He praised the girl and said that she is beautiful. This praise aroused jealousy in Rosemary's heart. He had five pound notes in his hand. Then he put two of them back. He gave three notes to the girl and asked her to leave. Still, the words of her husband 'beautiful, dear' were haunting her. Then she came to the library and informed Philip that the girl was gone. She was not ready to live anymore. Although Rosemary dressed herself to look beautiful she asked her husband if he was beautiful.
