लड़की अपनी मां को बताती है कि उसने उसे कैसे नष्ट किया। डॉक्टरों ने उसे बताया कि बच्चा एक लड़की होगी। उसने अपनी हरी साड़ी पहन ली और अस्पताल गई ताकि बच्ची को नष्‍ट कर दिया जाए क्‍योंकि लड़की अवांछित थी। मां की पहले से एक बेटी थी।

डॉक्टरों ने बच्ची को मारने के लिए इंजेक्शन दिया। माँ ने लड़की की ओर देखने की भी परवाह नहीं की।

लड़की के नष्ट होने के बाद सभी खुश थे।

हत्या की गई बच्ची उसे व्यर्थ में खोजने के लिए कहती है क्योंकि वह हमेशा के लिए खो गई थी। वह किसी के द्वारा प्रशंसित होने के लिए एक सुंदर लड़की के रूप में विकसित नहीं होगी। वह अपनी मां से कहती है कि उसने भगवान की इच्छा के विरुद्ध काम किया है। परमेश्वर चाहता था कि वह स्वाभाविक रूप से जिए और बड़ी हो।
