एक दिन शिक्षक ने छोटी बच्ची को सलाह दी कि वह कम से कम अपना चेहरा तो साफ रखे। लड़की ने अपना चेहरा साफ किया और अगली सुबह कक्षा में आई। वह और भी खूबसूरत और साफ-सुथरी लग रही थी। शिक्षक प्रसन्न हुआ। उसने लड़की को एक नई नीली पोशाक दी। उसके माता-पिता ने उसे उसकी नई नीली पोशाक में देखा और वे भी बहुत प्रसन्न हुए। तभी से परिवार के सदस्य सब कुछ साफ-सुथरा रखने लगे। उन्होंने फर्श को धोया, बाड़ की मरम्मत की और एक बगीचा बनाया। पड़ोसियों ने भी उसका पीछा किया। आसपास साफ-सुथरा रखा गया। उन्होंने अपने घरों को रंगा।
