Once upon a time, a young woodcutter named Taro lived on a deserted hill with his old parents. Although he worked very hard in the forest cutting wood for the whole day, he earned very little money. This made him sad as he wanted to provide his parents with everything they needed.

One cool evening, when Taro and his parents were sitting in their hut, Taro's father expressed his desire to take the cup 'for his sake' to keep him warm. This sad tarot sake was an expensive drink. Taro thought of working harder so that he could buy his father for a little bit.

The next day, he got up earlier than usual and went to the forest. While he was chopping wood, suddenly he heard the sound of rushing water. When Taro reached the spot, he saw a small beautiful waterfall hidden behind a rock. As he placed the water in his hands on his lips, he was surprised to find the most delicious sake instead of cold water.

Taro filled the pot with sake and took it home for his father. After drinking a sip of sake, the old man stopped trembling and started dancing. Taro also offered treats to an old neighbor and told him the story of the magical spring. Very soon, the whole village got to know the story of the sake.

The next morning, when Taro reached the waterfall, he saw that all his neighbors were already there with pots, pots and buckets. However, when a villager tasted the liquid from the spring he angrily shouted that it was only cold water. All the villagers felt that they had been tricked and left one by one. After all the villagers left, Taro came out of his hide and drank the liquid of the spring. It was the same delicious sake!

Taro was a thoughtful son who wanted to serve his parents. But others were greedy. So the spring provided food to the Taro and the others just plain cold water.

The story of Taro and the Magical Waterfall reached the Emperor of Japan. For the kindness that Tarot showed to his parents, he rewarded Taro with twenty pieces of gold. The emperor named the city's most beautiful fountain after Taro. He did this to encourage all children to respect and obey their parents.

एक बार की बात है, तारो नाम का एक युवा लकड़हारा अपने बूढ़े माता-पिता के साथ एक सुनसान पहाड़ी पर रहता था। हालाँकि उसने जंगल में दिन भर लकड़ी काटने में बहुत मेहनत की, लेकिन उसने बहुत कम पैसा कमाया। इससे वह दुखी हो गया क्योंकि वह अपने माता-पिता को उनकी जरूरत की हर चीज मुहैया कराना चाहता था।

एक ठंडी शाम, जब तारो और उसके माता-पिता अपनी झोपड़ी में बैठे थे, तारो के पिता ने उसे गर्म रखने के लिए 'खातिर' प्याला लेने की इच्छा व्यक्त की। यह दुखी टैरो खातिर एक महंगा पेय था। तारो ने और मेहनत करने की सोची ताकि वह अपने पिता को थोड़ी सी खातिर खरीद सके।

अगले दिन, वह सामान्य से पहले उठा और जंगल में चला गया। जब वह लकड़ी काट रहा था, तभी अचानक उसे पानी के तेज बहाव की आवाज सुनाई दी। जब तारो मौके पर पहुंचा तो उसने देखा कि एक चट्टान के पीछे एक छोटा सा सुंदर जलप्रपात छिपा हुआ है। जैसे ही उसने अपने हाथों में पानी भरकर अपने होठों पर रखा, वह ठंडे पानी के बजाय सबसे स्वादिष्ट खातिर पाकर हैरान रह गया।

तारो ने घड़े को खातिर भर दिया और अपने पिता के लिए घर ले गया। खातिर एक घूंट पीने के बाद, बूढ़े ने कांपना बंद कर दिया और नाचने लगा। तारो ने भी एक बूढ़े पड़ोसी को खातिरदारी दी और उसे जादुई झरने की कहानी सुनाई। बहुत जल्द, पूरे गांव को खातिर की कहानी पता चल गई।

अगली सुबह, जब तारो झरने पर पहुँचा, तो उसने देखा कि उसके सभी पड़ोसी वहाँ पहले से ही घड़े, घड़े और बाल्टियाँ रखे हुए हैं। हालाँकि, जब एक ग्रामीण ने झरने से तरल का स्वाद चखा तो वह गुस्से से चिल्लाया कि यह केवल ठंडा पानी है। सभी ग्रामीणों को लगा कि उनके साथ छल किया गया है और वे एक-एक करके वहां से चले गए। सभी ग्रामीणों के जाने के बाद, तारो अपने छिपने से बाहर आया और झरने का तरल पी लिया। यह वही स्वादिष्ट खातिर था!

तारो एक विचारशील पुत्र था जो अपने माता-पिता की सेवा करना चाहता था। लेकिन दूसरे लालची थे। इसलिए झरने ने तारो को खातिरदारी दी और दूसरों को सिर्फ सादा ठंडा पानी मिला।

तारो और जादुई झरने की कहानी जापान के सम्राट तक पहुंची। टैरो ने अपने माता-पिता के प्रति जो दया दिखाई, उसके लिए उसने तारो को बीस सोने के टुकड़ों से पुरस्कृत किया। सम्राट ने शहर के सबसे खूबसूरत फव्वारे का नाम तारो के नाम पर रखा। उन्होंने सभी बच्चों को अपने माता-पिता का सम्मान करने और उनकी आज्ञा मानने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए ऐसा किया।
