2. She says that since last one decade when she came to this house she is suffering silently and her feeling has hardened like a hard shell of a tortoise. It seems, she says I am trapped. I want and try to fly but I can only flap my wings in the net of the house.
3. This simple status of mine has been deliberately created to connect me with children and home. I may have to rebel against the situation in order to be extraordinary. The feeling of rebellion inside me eventually subsides with dry and sad tears on my face.

कवयित्री ने इस कविता के माध्यम से भारत में नारी की सामाजिक स्थिति को व्यक्त करने का प्रयास किया है। स्वयं यहाँ महिला के लिए खड़ा है। हम कह सकते हैं कि महिला कवयित्री के माध्यम से अपने बारे में बोल रही है। कविता में छंद हैं।
1. कवयित्री का कहना है कि वह एक साधारण महिला है और उसकी रचनात्मक प्रतिभा का उपयोग घर में कालीन और जिज्ञासु की व्यवस्था करने में किया जाता है। वह अपना समय नली में किताबों को लेबल करने और बच्चों के जूतों के फीतों की गांठ बांधने में भी बिताती है। तो उसकी रचनात्मकता उसके घर और बच्चों तक ही सीमित है।
2. वह कहती है कि पिछले एक दशक से जब वह इस घर में आई तो चुपचाप सह रही है और उसकी भावना कछुआ के कड़े खोल की तरह कठोर हो गई है। लगता है, वह कहती है कि मैं जाल में फंस गई हूं। मैं चाहता हूं और उड़ने की कोशिश करता हूं लेकिन मैं घर के जाल में ही अपने पंख फड़फड़ा सकता हूं।
3. मेरा यह साधारण दर्जा मुझे बच्चों और घर से जोड़ने के लिए जानबूझकर बनाया गया है। असाधारण बनने के लिए शायद मुझे स्थिति से विद्रोह करना पड़ेगा। मेरे अंदर विद्रोह की भावना अंततः मेरे चेहरे पर सूखे और उदास आँसुओं के साथ कम हो जाती है।
