टेस्ट में फेल होने या उसके सीने पर हरे बाल उगने की संभावना हो सकती है। उसके मन में काल्पनिक प्रश्न कौंध जाते हैं। वह उस पर बिजली चमकने की संभावना की कल्पना करता है। वह लंबा होना चाहता था और उसके पास छोटा होने की अजीब कल्पना थी।

अपने माता-पिता के बारे में उनकी मुख्य चिंता यह थी कि अगर वे तलाक लेते हैं तो क्या होगा। अगर युद्ध शुरू हो जाए या बस देर से आए तो क्या होगा? नाचने और पतंग उड़ाने की उसकी आकांक्षा उसे परेशान करती है। उनका लुक उनके लिए चिंता का विषय बनता जा रहा है। क्या होगा अगर उसके दांत सीधे नहीं गए?

बच्चा दिन के दौरान अन्य गतिविधियों में शामिल हो जाता है जब तक कि रात ढल नहीं जाती है जो उसके जिज्ञासु मन पर राज करता है।
