लुसी का जन्म हीथ पर हुआ था। तीन साल तक वह हर तरह के मौसम में लगातार बढ़ती रही। तब प्रकृति ने उसे शिक्षित करने और अपने स्वयं के डिजाइनों के अनुसार उसे एक महिला बनाने का फैसला किया।

प्रकृति उसे यह महसूस कराना चाहती थी कि उसे हर जगह देख और मार्गदर्शन करने की शक्ति थी, चाहे वह पहाड़ियों में हो या मैदान में, एक ग्लेड में या पेड़ों के बीच हो। इससे उसके आचरण पर नियंत्रण होगा। यह उसे कोई भी गलत काम करने से रोकेगा और उसे अच्छे काम करने के लिए प्रेरित करेगा।

लुसी एक युवा हिरण की तरह चंचल होगी। प्रकृति की चेतन वस्तुओं में उसे शांत रहना और एकांत का आनंद महसूस करना सिखाएगा।

बादल उसे शालीनता से चलना सिखाएंगे, और बिलो उसे विनम्र होना सिखाएगा। उसका शरीर लचीला हो जाएगा। वह आधी रात के आकाश में टिमटिमाते सुंदर सितारों की प्रशंसा करेगी, जो धाराएँ बहती हैं, जो गाती हैं, उन्हें शांत कर देंगी और उनके चेहरे की सुंदरता को बढ़ा देंगी। ये आनंददायक अनुभव उसे लंबा होने और उसके दिल को आनंद और खुशी से भरने में मदद करेंगे।

प्रकृति ने अपना काम उसी तरह किया जैसे उसने योजना बनाई थी। लेकिन दुर्भाग्य से लुसी की युवावस्था में ही मृत्यु हो गई। वह अपने पीछे सिर्फ अपनी याद छोड़ गई है।

Nature did its work the way it had planned. But unfortunately Lucy died at a young age. She has left behind only her memory.
