राजा ने विचार करने के लिए एक विचार दिया कि यदि वह अपने तीन प्रश्नों के उत्तर प्राप्त कर लेता है तो वह हमेशा सफल होगा। तीन चीजें थीं: कुछ शुरू करने का सही समय क्या है? उसे किन लोगों की बात सुननी चाहिए? उसके लिए सबसे महत्वपूर्ण काम क्या करना है?

राजा ने घोषणा की कि उत्तर देने वाले को इनाम के रूप में एक बड़ी राशि दी जाएगी। उनके सवालों के अलग-अलग जवाब मिले।

उनके पहले प्रश्न का उत्तर अनेक विद्वानों ने दिया। उनमें से कुछ ने उसे एक समय सारिणी तैयार करने का सुझाव दिया, अन्य चाहते थे कि वह सब कुछ छोड़ कर कार्यों को देखने में तल्लीन हो जाए।

कुछ ने सुझाव दिया कि सब कुछ तय करने के लिए बुद्धिमान व्यक्ति की एक परिषद होनी चाहिए और अन्य ने कहा कि कुछ कार्यों पर तत्काल ध्यान देने की आवश्यकता है। कुछ ने जादूगर की मदद से भविष्य देखने की अपनी राय दी।

उसके दूसरे प्रश्न के उत्तर में कुछ पंडितों ने कहा कि रीना को अपने पार्षदों, पुजारियों, डॉक्टरों या सैनिकों की बात सुननी चाहिए। उनके तीसरे प्रश्न के लिए, कुछ ने कहा कि विज्ञान और धार्मिक पूजा सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता होनी चाहिए।

हालाँकि, राजा किसी भी सुझाव से संतुष्ट नहीं था। उन्होंने अपने ज्ञान के लिए जाने जाने वाले एक साधु की सलाह मांगी।

राजा साधारण कपड़ों में उससे मिलने गया और अपने शरीर के पहरेदारों और घोड़े को छोड़ गया। साधु एक झोंपड़ी में रहता था और जमीन खोद रहा था। राजा ने उससे तीन प्रश्न पूछे लेकिन कोई उत्तर नहीं मिला।

जैसे ही वह बूढ़ा और कमजोर था, राजा ने उसके लिए खुदाई शुरू कर दी। कुछ देर बाद उसने फिर पूछा लेकिन कोई जवाब नहीं मिला। राजा ने एक घंटे बाद फिर पूछा, जिस पर साधु ने उत्तर दिया कि कोई आ रहा है।

राजा ने मुड़कर देखा, उसने एक घायल व्यक्ति को देखा। उसके घाव से काफी खून निकल रहा था और फिर वह बेहोश हो गया। राजा ने खुद अपने घाव को रुमाल से तब तक धोया जब तक खून बहना बंद नहीं हो गया।

उस आदमी ने पानी माँगा और राजा ने उसे दे दिया। शाम हो चुकी थी और दोनों उसे झोंपड़ी के अंदर ले गए। वह आदमी चुपचाप बिस्तर पर लेटा हुआ था और राजा के थक जाने पर वह फर्श पर सो गया। जब वह उठा तो घायल दाढ़ी वाले ने उससे माफी मांगी। राजा चौंक गया।

उसने खुलासा किया कि वह उसका दुश्मन था क्योंकि राजा ने उसके भाई को मार डाला था और उसकी संपत्ति पर कब्जा कर लिया था। उसने बदला लेने का मौका लिया। उसने राजा को मारने की योजना बनाई क्योंकि वह जानता था कि राजा अकेले ही बुद्धिमान व्यक्ति के पास आया था।

उसने घर के रास्ते में उसे मारने की योजना बनाई, लेकिन जब वह नहीं लौटा, तो वह छिपने की जगह से बाहर आ गया। वह अपने गार्ड पर आया जिसने उसे पहचानते ही उस पर जमकर हमला किया।

लेकिन, वह उस राजा का ऋणी था जो उसका उद्धारकर्ता निकला, उसने उसे बचाने का वचन दिया। बदले में, राजा ने अपने ज़ब्त धन को वापस करने और उसकी ठीक से देखभाल करने के लिए डॉक्टरों को भेजने का वादा किया।

Three Questions Part 1 Summary of Lesson
The king gave an idea to consider that he would always be successful if he got the answers to his three questions. There were three things: What's the right time to start something? Whom should he listen to? What is the most important thing for him to do?

The king announced that the answerer would be given a huge amount as a reward. His questions got different answers.

His first question was answered by many scholars. Some of them suggested her to prepare a timetable, others wanted her to leave everything and get engrossed in seeing the tasks.

Some suggested that there should be a council of wise man to decide everything and others said that some tasks need immediate attention. Some gave their opinion to see the future with the help of magician.

In response to her second question, some pundits said that Reena should listen to her councillors, priests, doctors or soldiers. To his third question, some said that science and religious worship should be a top priority.

However, the king was not satisfied with any of the suggestions. He sought the advice of a monk known for his wisdom.

The king went to meet her in simple clothes and left the guards and horse of his body. The monk lived in a hut and was digging the ground. The king asked him three questions but got no answer.

As he was old and weak, the king started digging for him. After sometime he asked again but got no answer. The king asked again after an hour, to which the monk replied that someone was coming.

Three Questions Part 2 Summary of Lessons
The king turned and saw a wounded man. His wound was bleeding profusely and then he fainted. The king himself washed his wound with a handkerchief until the bleeding stopped.

The man asked for water and the king gave it to him. It was evening and both took him inside the hut. The man was lying quietly on the bed and when the king was tired, he fell asleep on the floor. When he woke up, the wounded bearded man apologized to him. The king was shocked.

He revealed that he was his enemy as the king had killed his brother and occupied his property. He took the opportunity to take revenge. He planned to kill the king because he knew that the king had come alone to the wise man.

He planned to kill him on his way home, but when he did not return, he came out of the hiding place. He came upon his guard who, upon recognizing him, attacked him fiercely.

But, he was indebted to the king who turned out to be his savior, he promised to save him. In return, the king promised to return his confiscated money and send doctors to look after him properly.
