प्राचीन विश्व के अनेक देश फले-फूले। लेकिन कालांतर में पुरानी सभ्यता के सुंदर फूल मुरझा गए; केवल भारत और चीन में ही पुरानी सभ्यता और संस्कृति बढ़ी और बदली है। लेकिन यह एक अंतर्निहित एकता की कीमत पर नहीं हुआ। यह भारतीय समाज द्वारा दिखाई गई समायोजन की क्षमता से संभव हुआ।

भारतीय संस्कृति की अटूट एकता और निरंतरता प्रशंसनीय है। भारत ने हिंसक या अचानक टूटने का अनुभव नहीं किया है। संस्कृति का निरंतर विकास और विस्तार इस तरह से फला-फूला है जो धीरे-धीरे समाज के हर वर्ग और वर्ग में फैल गया है।

But over time the beautiful flowers of the old civilization withered away; It is only in India and China that the old civilization and culture have grown and changed. But this did not happen at the cost of an underlying unity. This was made possible by the ability of adjustment shown by the Indian society.

We, Indians believe in 'live and let live', which is found in the spirit of tolerance. Sometimes such unreasonable tolerance causes great harm and suffering to the collective interest of our people. This is done by showing indifference or unbiased attitude towards the values of life.

We find a sense of unity inherent in all the changes in Indian history. It signifies the various manifestations of life.

It is a fact that true and vital culture protects unity and universality. Culture is a concept that cannot be defined simply or unitarily. Civilization is that organization of society which forms the state of culture. In such a situation, we cannot imagine culture without civilization. But this does not apply with civilization. Civilization can also take place in countries that have not yet developed their own culture. Except India, no civilized nation and races are considered to be cultured. In European countries there is a difference in quality between masses and classes which is not found in India.

The unbreakable unity and continuity of Indian culture is commendable. India has not experienced violent or sudden breakdown. The continuous growth and expansion of culture has flourished in such a way that it has gradually spread to every section and section of the society.

Thus, it is the beauty of Indian culture that is unique and great whereas other civilizations are little in all respects.
