മരങ്ങളും വയലുകളും ഇരുണ്ട നിഴലുകളും ദൂരെയുള്ള കുന്നുകളും പ്രകാശം കൊണ്ട് വരയ്ക്കാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചു. സൂര്യപ്രകാശം മങ്ങിത്തുടങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ അവൻ തന്റെ പെയിന്റിംഗ് നിർത്തി. ലോകം വളരെ മനോഹരമാണെന്ന് പെൺകുട്ടി പറഞ്ഞു. കുട്ടി ഒരു നുള്ള് സങ്കടത്തോടെ ഈ വാക്കുകൾ ആവർത്തിച്ചു. ഒരു വലിയ കാര്യം ചെയ്യാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവൾ എന്തുചെയ്യുമെന്ന് ആൺകുട്ടി അവളോട് ചോദിച്ചു. താൻ ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്ന വ്യക്തിക്ക് വേണ്ടിയാണ് താൻ ഇത് ചെയ്യുന്നതെന്ന് ചിന്തിക്കുമെന്ന് പെൺകുട്ടി മറുപടി നൽകി. ഇത് അവളെ ശക്തയാക്കുകയും അവളുടെ എല്ലാ സങ്കടങ്ങളും മറക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും. അങ്ങനെ അവൾക്ക് മുന്നോട്ട് പോകാൻ കഴിയും, ഒരിക്കലും ബോറടിക്കില്ല. ആ കുട്ടി ഒരു നിമിഷം ചിന്തിച്ചു, അങ്ങനെയെങ്കിൽ, അവൾക്കായി തന്റെ ചിത്രം വരയ്ക്കുമെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു. തുടർന്ന് ഇരുവരും വീട്ടിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങി.

The girl replied that she would think he was doing this for the person he loved the most. This will make her stronger and forget all her sorrows. So she can move on and never get bored. The boy thought for a moment and said that if so, he would draw his picture for her. The two then returned home.

That night there was a tragedy in the family. The girl died in her sleep. The grieving mother told the boy that her younger sister would never return to this world. The boy's grief was beyond words.
