She rarely said anything. Wanda came from Boggins Heights. His feet were usually covered with dry clay. There were other girls named Peggy and Maddie. Often these two girls would wait for Wanda Petronsky to have fun with him.
Wanda had no friends but a lot of friends talked to her. She came to school alone and went home alone. She always wore a faded-blue outfit which often did not fit her properly. Peggy politely asks Wanda how many clothes she has.
Wanda replied that she had a hundred all lined up in the closet. Everyone was surprised by this. Regarding the shoes he replied that he had sixty pairs of all colours. There were shouts of chivalry from the students.
Peggy was Wanda's closest friend. She had fun with him but she always protected small children from threats. She used to cry for hours after seeing an animal misbehaving with her. Maddie was missing him a lot. Tears welled up in her eyes and she stared at the picture for a long time. He found that his face looked like his in the picture. She was excited to see that Wanda had drawn the picture especially for her. She ran to Peggy's house and saw her drawing.
