'मैं द्रविड़ की भूमि की बेटी हूँ' अमृता प्रीतम द्वारा रचित एक विचारशील कविता है। इस कविता में अमृता प्रीतम ने वर्णन किया है। विभिन्न परिस्थितियों और समयों में महिलाओं की विभिन्न भूमिकाएँ। कविता व्यक्तिपरक है। कवि स्वयं एक पात्र है कविता है। पहले छंद में वह कहती है कि उसके जीवन के दो पहलू हैं। वह 'काम-कन्या' और 'कला-कन्या स्नान' हैं।

काम-कन्या के रूप में, वह प्रेम की पुत्री है और काल-कन्या के रूप में वह मृत्यु की पुत्री है। उनका कहना है कि वह इन दो तरह की शख्सियतों को पहनकर इस दुनिया में आई हैं। ऐसा इसलिए है क्योंकि वह द्रविड़ की भूमि की बेटी है। इस छंद में कवि कहना चाहता है कि एक भारतीय महिला को अपने जीवन में दो तरह की भूमिकाएँ निभानी पड़ती हैं। उसे जो पहली भूमिका निभानी है वह एक निर्माता की भूमिका है। वह प्यार और स्नेह का प्रतीक है। वह एक बच्चे को जन्म देती है और पूरे परिवार को बहुत ही खूबसूरत तरीके से पालती है। वह अपने पति से प्यार करती है; पिता, माता, बच्चे और रिश्तेदार। दूसरी ओर, कभी-कभी वह एक विध्वंसक की भूमिका निभाती है। जरूरत पड़ने पर वह काली का रूप धारण कर लेती है और राक्षसों और राक्षसों का नाश कर देती है। ऐसा इसलिए है क्योंकि वह द्रविड़ की इस पवित्र भूमि की बेटी हैं।

अंतिम छंद में अमृता प्रीतम ने हमारे समाज में नारी की स्थिति का बहुत ही सुन्दर वर्णन किया है। उनका मत है कि स्त्री की सांसारिक स्थिति यह है कि उसे दो अलग-अलग प्रकार के व्यवहार मिलते हैं। कभी-कभी एक महिला को सम्मान का लाल घूंघट मिलता है। इसका मतलब है कि उसका गर्मजोशी से स्वागत और सम्मान किया जाता है। दूसरी ओर, उसे अपमान और अपमान के जीवन का सामना करना पड़ता है। अंत में एक महिला को अपने अस्तित्व की गहराई में खुद को विलीन करना पड़ता है क्योंकि वह द्रविड़ की इस भूमि की बेटी है।

'I am the daughter of the land of Dravid' is a thoughtful poem composed by Amrita Pritam. Amrita Pritam has described in this poem. Different roles of women in different situations and times. Poetry is personal. The poet himself is a character. In the first verse she says that there are two sides to her life. She is 'Kama-Kanya' and 'Kala-Kanya Snan'.

As Kama Kanya, she is the daughter of Prem and as Kaal Kanya she is the daughter of Death. She says that she has come into this world wearing these two types of personalities. This is because she is the daughter of the land of Dravid. In this verse the poet wants to say that an Indian woman has to play two types of roles in her life. The first role she has to play is that of a producer. He is a symbol of love and affection. She gives birth to a child and brings up the whole family in a very beautiful way. She loves her husband; Father, mother, children and relatives. On the other hand, sometimes she plays the role of a destroyer. When needed, she assumes the form of Kali and destroys the demons and demons. This is because she is the daughter of this holy land of Dravidians.

In the second verse she says that a woman has to pass through four stages. These four stages are (i) a young (ii) young (ii) an elder' and (iv) an old man. Thereafter man is subject to decay. She says that a woman's life passes through four stages. Describing the role of a woman, Amrita Pritam further says that a woman goes to the temple to worship the Lord. In the last verse, Amrita Pritam has very beautifully described the condition of women in our society. He is of the opinion that the worldly condition of a woman is that she receives two different types of behaviour. Sometimes a woman receives a red veil of honor. This means that he is warmly welcomed and respected. On the other hand, he has to face a life of humiliation and humiliation. In the end a woman has to merge herself into the depths of her existence as she is the daughter of this land of Dravidians.
