Bipin was not sure so he asked him if they had met before. The man then told him that he had arranged for a car to pick him up that it was Parimal Ghosh whom he had met in 1958 in Ranchi.

Bipin knew that the man must have mistook him for someone else as he always wanted to go to Ranchi but could not do so. The man called him by his name, yet Bipin could not believe it.

Parimal tried to convince him by narrating some incidents. He told her that he fell in Hudru and hurt his knee. He arranged for a car but he could not go due to pain.

He told Bipin Babu that he stayed with Mr. Dinesh Mukherjee as he did not like the hotel. He also spoke about his reasoning about landing on the moon and his habit of carrying a bag full of books while sightseeing.
