वह हर तरह से अग्रदूत थीं और लाखों लोगों को प्रेरित करती थीं। उनकी उपलब्धियां असंख्य हैं। उन्होंने इसके लिए साहस और दूरदृष्टि रखते हुए सफलता प्राप्त करने का आश्वासन दिया।

लेकिन 16 जनवरी 2003 के घातक दिन ने एक बहादुर योद्धा को छीन लिया। लेकिन उन्होंने कई लोगों के जीवन पर एक अमिट छाप छोड़ी।

Kalpana was born in Karnal, Haryana. He did his schooling from Tagore School. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering. She went to USA to pursue her master's degree.

He did his Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering. She was married to flight instructor Jean-Pierre Harrison. She was a certified flight instructor and a qualified pilot. He was appointed as a research scientist at NASA and was selected as an astronaut in 1994.

Kalpana Chawla herself revealed that she had never dreamed of crossing the boundaries of space. She became the first Indian American astronaut to fly from the launch pad of Cape Canaveral, Fluoride.

The spacecraft, Kalpana's first space mission in Colombia, was exactly 15 days, 16 hours and 34 minutes long, with Japanese and Ukrainian astronauts experimenting on food development in space and tests to make faster computer chips.

She was a pioneer in every way and inspired millions. His achievements are numerous. He assured to achieve success keeping courage and vision for this.

But the fateful day of 16 January 2003 took away a brave warrior. But he left an indelible mark on the lives of many.
