चयन समिति के इस फैसले को अंतरराष्ट्रीय समुदाय की सराहना मिली है। WHO। महासचिव जेवियर पेरेज़ ने उनकी (अलेक्जेंडर एरिस मां को नजरबंदी से जल्दी रिहा करने का समर्थन करते हुए प्रस्ताव पारित किया।
