Here we have uploaded the The Two Pigeons Chapter Summary in English for students. This will help students to learn quickly in English and Tamil language.

Once upon a time there lived two white doves. They were friends. They spent their days looking for food. In the afternoons, they relax in their favorite tree in the forest. Then they will sing. Soon, that night, they would lock their wings and go to sleep.

One day it was raining heavily in the forest. The animals ran to their home. The chicken pigeon did the same. She fluttered her feathers and waved her body to remove the water. She adjusted her wings and sat down on the tree waiting for the rooster. The rain continued to pour and it was getting dark. She began to worry for her friend. 'He's never been late. I hope he's safe,' she whispered to herself.

'Cow! It was raining, and the rooster pigeon sat on a tree, thinking he would wait in this tree until it stopped. He does not know that there is a bird catcher nearby. The bird catcher silently approached the pigeon and grabbed it! He was holding a pigeon. The pigeon flew away and tried to hit it in vain. The rooster pigeon became nervous and fainted. The hunter put the pigeon in a cage and started walking home. 'I have to be home before the rain increases.' He thought to himself.

It began to rain heavily, and the hen saw a dovecote coming near the tree. In the cage, he had a rooster-pigeon. It was a pigeon. Was she unconscious. Frightened of the chicken pigeon. Is she a friend? The bird catcher approached the tree. She had to hide, but she wanted a closer look to see if it was her girlfriend. She flew to the lowest branch. “Damn! He is. What should I do now? I need to help my friend. The chicken pigeon was worried. The sky thundered, and the birdcatcher hid under his tree. 'I seem to have to wait until the rain stops,' said the bird catcher.

Soon the rain stopped and the bird catcher wanted to leave, but it was very dark and late at night. 'I will camp here for the night and leave in the morning:' he thought. It was a wet and cold night, and he wanted to light a fire to keep himself warm. He could not see the dry twigs. The dove in the cage woke up and tried to fly its wings to hit the cage.

The chicken pigeon began to cry. Her friend said, “Don’t feel sad darling. We have a guest now. The man is trembling and hungry. He needs your help. ” The pigeon flew away from the tree in search of dry twigs. She got two or three twigs at once and made a big pile of dried twigs. She got the boulders to ignite the bird catcher. The bird catcher was surprised to see the chicken-pigeon. Kindled a fire.

“You are my guest. I have no food to give you. I will jump into this fire so you can feed me. The bird catcher immersed himself in the hospitality of the pigeon. He grabbed the chicken pigeon and stopped it from jumping into the fire. “Oh, dear bird! What do you want? I will help you in any way I can. ” Said the bird-catcher. “Please release my friend. Without him my life would be meaningless. The pigeon replied.

He opened the cage and released the pigeon. 'I was cruel and selfish. I will not trap any more birds,' said the bird-catcher, who stayed the night.
