மிதாலி ஐதராபாத்தில் வசித்தாலும் அவரது தாய் மொழி தமிழ். அதிக ரன்கள் எடுத்தவர் மற்றும் ஒருநாள் போட்டிகளில் 6,000 ரன்களை கடந்த ஒரே பெண் கிரிக்கெட் வீரரும் ஆவார். தொடர்ந்து ஏழு 50 ரன்கள் அடித்த முதல் வீராங்கனையும் ஆவார். அவர் ‘இந்திய மகளிர் கிரிக்கெட்டின் டெண்டுல்கர்’ என்று அழைக்கப்படுகிறார். ஆனால் கிரிக்கெட்டில் ஆண்களுடன் பெண்களை ஒப்பிடக் கூடாது என்கிறார். கிரிக்கெட் ஆண்களுக்கு மட்டுமே என்று நினைக்கும் பலரின் பாரம்பரிய தடைகளை அவர் உடைத்தார். எல்லாத் துறைகளிலும் ஆண்களுக்கு நிகரான பெண்கள் என்பதை நிரூபித்தார். அரசாங்கம் அவருக்கு ‘பத்மஸ்ரீ’ விருதை வழங்கியது. சமீபத்தில், இரண்டாவது மகளிர் டி20 சர்வதேச போட்டியில், மிதாலி ஆட்டமிழக்காமல் 76 ரன்களுடன் ஒன்பது விக்கெட் வித்தியாசத்தில் தனது அணியை ஒரு வசதியான வெற்றிக்கு அழைத்துச் சென்றார்.

29 வயதில், கபடியில் தங்கப் பதக்கம் வென்றார். 2018 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆசிய விளையாட்டுப் போட்டிகளில் தங்கப் பதக்கம் வெல்வதற்காக அவர் இப்போது கடினமாக உழைத்து தினமும் பயிற்சி செய்து வருகிறார். மேலும் அவர் தனது சகோதரர்கள், சகோதரிகள் மற்றும் பிற சக விளையாட்டு வீரர்களுக்கு முன்மாதிரியாகவும் மாறியுள்ளார்.

இந்தப் பகுதி ஆர்.வி.யின் வாழ்க்கை வரலாற்றைக் கையாள்கிறது. சிந்து, பேட்மிண்டன் வீராங்கனை. 2017 ஒலிம்பிக்கில் வெள்ளிப் பதக்கம் வென்ற இரண்டு இந்திய பேட்மிண்டன் வீராங்கனைகளில் புசர்லா வெங்கட சிந்துவும் ஒருவர். பெண்கள் ஒற்றையர் பிரிவில் முதல் ஐந்து ஷட்லர்களில் இவரும் ஒருவர். 2001 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆல் இங்கிலாந்து ஓபன் பேட்மிண்டன் சாம்பியனான புல்லேலா கோபிசந்தின் வெற்றியிலிருந்து அவர் உத்வேகம் பெற்றார். சிந்து கோபிச்சாரிட் அகாடமியில் சேர்ந்து தனது பயிற்சி அட்டவணையை ஆர்வத்துடன் பயிற்சி செய்தார். அவள் தனது ஆர்வத்தையும் கல்வியையும் சமன் செய்தாள். இப்போது, அவர் வணிகத்தில் இளங்கலை பட்டம் (பி.காம்) பெற்றுள்ளார்.

This is a report about Usha Rani, the Cap-Gum Kabaddi Champion. He hails from a poor town called Subedarpalaya in Yeshwantpur near Bangalore in Karnataka. To fulfill his mother’s dream, he practiced kabaddi from an early age. He soon started playing kabaddi in the sub-junior division nationally. He used to sell flowers for his daily life and to support his family. He had to fight hard all his life till he became a junior constable in the Karnataka State Police.

At the age of 29, he won the gold medal in kabaddi. He is now working hard and training daily to win a gold medal at the 2018 Asian Games. He has also become a role model for his brothers, sisters and other fellow athletes.
Section III.

This section deals with the biography of RV. Sindhu, badminton player. Busarla Venkata Sindhu is one of only two Indian badminton players to win a silver medal at the 2017 Olympics. She is also one of the top five shuttlers in the women's singles category. He was inspired by the victory of 2001 All-England Open badminton champion Bullela Gopichand. He joined the Sindhu Gopicharid Academy and practiced his training schedule with enthusiasm. She balanced her interest and education. Now, he holds a Bachelor’s Degree (B.Com) in Business.

B.V. Sindhu has won many titles, awards and cash grants for his contribution. The Government of India has also given him three awards. They were awarded the Rajiv Gandhi Kale Ratna in 2016, the Padma Shri in 2015 and the Arjuna Award in 2013.
