നാരുമൊരുത്തരും താരാത്താരോ
കുന്നു ചുമന്നിട്ടു വെണ്ണ ചുമന്നുള്ള.
രുണ്ണിക്കെ നോവുന്നുതില്ലയോയെന്‍
കുന്നു ചുമക്കേണമെന്നതുചിന്തിച്ചോ |
വെണ്ണചുമന്നിട്ടു ശീലിച്ച നീ
വെണ്ണയെന്നോര്‍ത്തിട്ടു കുന്നിനെത്തന്നെയും
